Slope instabilities and failures: The cost-effective alternative to nailing, shotcrete, gravity walls, gabion walls and deep-anchored constructions

The TECCO® slope stabilisation system (boulder netting) stabilises steep, wheathered slopes in place of concrete and shotcrete constructions and conventional net systems: After cleaning, trimming and leveling, the surface is covered by a steel-wire mesh which is tensioned at a defined additional torque force via previously drilled soil or rock nails and spike plates. The mesh fits to the topography and in this way prevents not only slope slides but also rocks from breaking out.

The TECCO® slope stabilization mesh owes its high mechanical strength to an alloyed, high-tensile steel wire ø 3 mm which we subject to a multi-stage wire drawing process to produce a high-performance mesh of 3.5 m width and 30 m length with 12 individual meshes per meter.
